Makeup is a way for everyone to express themselves and Shari has known this ever since she could remember. At the age of 12 she wanted to wear everything that her mother had in her makeup drawer all at the same time. Instead, while she was going to high school she attended Empire Makeup Academy in Costa Mesa, Ca to learn how to put it on appropriately. A few years after that she started working at MAC Cosmetics while finishing up a degree in Accounting, it was then she knew that she wanted to go as far as she could with beauty and it wasn’t just a job but a way to display her creativity. During her seven years of experience Shari has participated in many weddings doing hair and makeup, then in 2007 Shari participated in the makeup application for over 3 fashion shows at San Francisco Fashion Week. Shari is always grabbing the latest magazines to keep up with the newest hair and makeup trends, she can achieve any look that you desire whether it be something natural or dramatic.

A few years ago a couple of makeup artist decided to get together and showcase their talent by creating a on location hair and makeup service called Lip Service. Since we have started Lip Service has participated in numerous fashion shows, destination weddings, and even volunteer work for women’s shelters.
